Our Fold

From the Evangelism Committee

Kids Club will start up again Saturday October 6th with FAMILY NIGHT starting at 5pm to 8pm. We will be serving spaghetti, salad and bread. (This meeting will include the whole family, to get acquainted with what we are doing and why everyone is invited to take part.)

The next Kids Club will be Trick or Treat, October 31st

on the parking lot of the church. The cars will be parked with their trunks open so we can hand out gifts to the children that come by.  We will give out T Shirts from the past Fall Festivals along with other gifts we purchase. Marion Anderau said that she had a policeman that would do the security for us. (Evangelism Committee donated monies for Kids Club will be used for this event.)

We are planning a Kids Club Christmas Party December 15th. (Have Santa Clause to hand out gifts to the Kids from 5pm to 8pm.)

(Pastor Grant Housewright and I will be at the Country Club Meeting on August 28th. We will present our Kids Club Program to the members asking for their help and ideas.  We hope that this will get our program off to a good start and hope they will join us to make this a joint program for the neighborhood and the church.)

The next Evangelism Committee meeting will be September 9th after church. To go over what is being done and what needs to be done to make this project a success. We will be going over the results of our meeting with the Country Club Civic Club of August 28th. This meeting will be opened with a prayer, asking for guidance to make this a successful adventure not only for our church, but for the community around the church.

We will conduct a conversation with members of our church to make them aware what we are going to do with the Kids Club.  (We will need their help for supervision, meals, and any other thing that is needed. We will want to make a schedule for each person, so they will know when they are expected to perform their work duties.)
